Glade Forest Environment - Gameplay & Walkthrough

Glade Forest Environment – Design and implementation of a game level in Unity.
In the past months I have worked on a big project, the Glade Forest Environment.
It is a small portion in the woods that opens with a path towards a rickety hut, where a hermit lives, who enjoys the quiet and peace of the wood. He is a carpenter, so around the hut some props suggest it.
I wanted to do a night scene because it is more mysterious and interesting.
I made every single asset, from trees, vegetation, props, particles, terrain and textures, concepts, everything.

I then studied the lighting and post processing to make the scene look its best.

During this project, I learned all the steps necessary to create a Game Environment:

– Concept Art
– Modeling and Boxing
– High detail + UV models
– Terrain modeling in Unity
– Photographing and preparing textures in Photoshop
– Texturing on Substance Painter
– Collisions + LODs
– Lighting and Post Processing in Unity.
